Thurston Harbour Anchorage. Thurston Harbour on Talunkwan Island is a well-protected anchorage conveniently located between the Skedans Watchmen site to the north and the Tanu Watchmen site to the south. Anchor here following an afternoon visit to Skedans and get an early morning start to visit Tanu. There is plenty of room and good holding. While located near Gwaii Haanas Park, this anchorage is outside the park boundary and does not require a reservation or daily fee.
Dana Passage. Dana Passage is a narrow and scenic route between Talunkwan and Moresby Islands. At the narrowest section, the passage is only about 100 feet wide, but the depths are at least 30 feet throughout.
