April Point Marina Quadra Island
April Point Resort, Spa & Marina address is P.O. Box 381 Quathiaski Cove, BC V0P 1N0 (250) 285-2222 x264: marina@northcoasthotelresort.com. Monitors VHF 66A. The resort spa open mid-May to October, moorage open all year. The resort lodge & spa are located at April Point and the marina is located in the cove a half mile southeast. The marina has moorage for vessels up to 200 feet, Wi-Fi, water, garbage, and 30, 50, & 100 amp power. Laundry, showers, and a picnic area are available at the resort lodge along with kayak and bike rentals; the resort lodge is a 10-minute walk from the marina or an easy commute by dinghy.
Approaching, you will see a red spar buoy at the entrance to the bay. The buoy marks a shoal, keep the buoy to starboard as you enter (Red, Right, Returning). The proper channel will appear narrow, especially at low tide. You will be strongly tempted to leave the buoy to port, which might put you aground. The docks in front of the lodge are for resort boats and dinghies only; however, boat under 25 feet may be allowed to tie-up while dining at the lodge.
