Port Angeles is a substantial small city on a bay protected by Ediz Hook. The Port Angeles City Pier, with visitor moorage, is near the south end of the business district. Guest moorage with full services is available at the breakwater-protected Port of Port Angeles Boat Haven marina at the southwest corner of the bay.

Port Angeles is a U.S. Customs port of entry. The Coho car and passenger ferry runs from Port Angeles to Victoria (cohoferry.com). It is possible to moor the boat in Port Angeles, take the Coho Ferry as a walk-on passenger in the morning, tour Victoria, BC for the day, and return to Port Angeles in the late afternoon.

The outer end of Ediz Hook is a Coast Guard station. Just west of the Coast Guard station is the Port Angeles Pilot Station, where Puget Sound Pilot tenders shuttle pilots to ships bound to or from Puget Sound ports.

Open all year, ethanol-free gasoline and diesel at the fuel dock, and high-volume fuel delivery for larger vessels. The marina has concrete docks, side-tie guest moorage, and a guest arrival float. Maximum boat length 164 feet. Services include 30, 50, and 100 amp power, restrooms, Wi-Fi, showers, waste oil disposal and pumpout. Security system with locking gates. Call ahead for after-hours arrival. Customs clearence is available from a dedicated phone on the water side of the harbour office, (360) 457-4311. Haulout on a 70 ton Travelift. Groceries, doctor, post office, and laundry are nearby. The Castaway Restaurant, located on the northwest end of the moorage basin, is a full service restaurant and night club frequently featuring live music.
