Powell River Marina – Westview Harbour Powell River

There are two main moorage areas at Powell River’s Westview area:  The North Harbour for permanent moorage location north of the ferry landing with its own entrance; and the working harbour and the transient guest moorage facility with an entrance located south of the ferry landing.  The guest moorage facility consists of two basins referred to as Westview and South Harbour;  these two basins are accessed through the shared south entrance and the floats are used by working vessels and transient pleasure craft.  Fuel, water and power are available at the Westview and South Haroubr basins; nearby stores have marine supplies.  Grocery store and a major shopping center ar a taxi or a free seasonal shuttle from the marina.

Westview Harbour is located at 6790 Wharf Street and monitors VHF 66A.   Marina is open all year, potable water, 30 & 50 amp power, washrooms, new large showers, laundry, garbage drop, recycling, waste oil disposal and free Wi-Fi.   Pumpout by appointment.  Leave daymark inside the harbour entry to port when entering.  Guest moorage is available at both Westview Harbour and South Harbour basins, which share the same south entrance.  Westview Fuels is the demarcation between the two moorage areas.

Westview Harbour (floats 1-6) is the primary guest moorage basin, the effort is made to accommodate most transient boats in Westview, rafting my be required or stern-tie to the main dock.  South Harbour (floats 7-11) can accommodate vessels up to 200 feet (20-foot draft at zero tide).  A short trail connects the South Harbour basin and the Westview Harbour basin.

Washrooms, showers, and garbage drop are available at both Westview and South Harbour; the newest facilities are located at Westview with the older more basic facilities at South Harbour.

One-hour complimentary moorage, call ahead.  Free scheduled shuttle to the mall picks up outside the harbour office four times per day during the ten-week season.  The schedule is posted at the marina office.
