Accessible by either floatplane or helicopter, Nimmo Bay offers fresh coastal cuisine, luxurious cabins, personalized service, and customized wilderness experiences to suit every desire. Here, couples, families, friends and small groups with each other and the natural world around them.

The resort, tucked away at the base of 5,000-foot Mount Stephens, has grown over the years to nine spacious, private cabins, all carefully constructed with the surrounding environment and the comfort of guests in mind. Running through the heart of the resort is a beautiful, cascading waterfall supplying both clean drinking water and green energy. At the lodge, guests can unwind with a soak in the hot tub next to the waterfall, relax with a massage or yoga class, and enjoy a cozy evening around the floating fire dock as the stars come out.

From Nimmo Bay, guests can discover the magnificence of the Great Bear Rainforest, with abundant wildlife viewing opportunities, exciting outdoor adventures, and breathtaking landscapes. Helicopter Adventures:
Helicopter adventures are day-long excursions for people of all ages looking to explore British Columbia’s stunning wilderness. With the exclusive use of a piloted helicopter, and access to 50,000 square miles of terrain, guests can set out on a variety of adventures from alpine hiking and glacier tours to gourmet picnics on a secluded beach and fishing along remote rivers with an experienced guide. All adventures are tailored to the specific desires of each group and the possibilities are endless.

From the sky, guests can truly witness and appreciate both the vast and rugged beauty of coastal British Columbia. Journey from sea level to 7,000 feet in a helicopter, flying to various remote destinations, such as: 10,000-year-old glaciers, alpine lakes, snow-capped mountains, old-growth forests, white sand beaches, waterfalls, islands and isolated rivers.

Helicopter day trips may include: glacier tours, glacial lake paddle boarding, heli-hiking, heli-fishing, waterfall visits, old-growth forest walks and west coast beach combing.
