LIVE STREAMED FROM VICTORIA INTERNATIONAL MARINA

Music by the Sea welcomes a selection of Victoria’s very finest classical and jazz artists to present a live concert to be streamed online Sunday, November 29th in support of both the arts and the Victoria Hospitals Foundation.

Guest artists will perform a full program of music featuring both genres of music. Music by the Sea Artistic Director Christopher Donison will host the event. Music by the Sea is proud to partner with C-FAX 1070 for this event which will be live-streamed on YouTube.  Full health guidelines concerning COVID-19 will be employed and there will be no audience in the venue.

In partnership with the new Victoria International Marina in Victoria’s Inner Harbour, Music by the Sea is producing this fundraising telethon-style concert as an opportunity to bring our community together to raise funds for both the arts and our Victoria Hospitals at this time of increasing challenges. Audio-visual technical work and streaming is by Darcy Beck Productions and PK Sound.

Who is playing?
Victoria’s very own jazz icon Louise Rose will perform solo at the piano and on the other side of the hall will be Victoria’s Lafayette String Quartet — known for their brilliance and artistry as well as their commitment to the health and well-being of our community through their annual Lafayette Health Awareness Forum. There will be no participants taking part that are from off of Vancouver Island.
