Tracey Harbour Wells Passage Anchorage The Broughtons
Tracey Harbour. Tracey Harbour indents North Broughton Island from Wells Passage. it is pretty and protected. No anchorage is viable, however, until near the head of the bay. There, you can find anchorage on mud bottom in Napier Bay, or on rocky bottom in the bay behind Carter Point. You’re apt to find log booms in Napier Bay and leftover buildings from an old logging operation. Anchor near the head of the cove behind Carter Point. The cove is beautiful and cozy-feeling, but the bottom feels like a thin layer of mud on top of rock and it wouldn’t take much to drag the anchor.
