Merry Chase Visit

The beautiful Merry Chase had a 3-day visit to Victoria International Marina.  Built-in 1929 her size is 61 feet LOA and 16-foot beam.  The Merry Chase is a seiner from the WWII era.  In 1942, the vessel was seized under the War Measures Act and ownership was transferred to His Majesty the King and was commissioned into the Royal Canadian Navy Fisherman’s Reserve.   Her home port is Vancouver, BC.
