Mill Bay Marina – Yacht Moorage

Located 740 Handy Road, Mill Bay BC V0R 2P1 (250) 743-4303 Monitors VHF 66A.  700 feet of transient moorage to accommodate yachts to 200 feet, 30 & 50 amp power, water, gasoline, diesel, pump-out, laundry, showers, free Wi-Fi.  Reservations recommended in season.  Wide Roomy slips and side-tie moorage on concrete docks.  State-of-art marina with great views of Mt Baker.

Picnic tables and propane barbecues for guest use are on the docks.  The Bridgmans Bistro Restaurant, open for lunch and dinner, and brunch on weekends is a hit.  Soft drinks, ice cream.  Live music on Sundays,.  Blue Dog Kayaking (250) 710-7693 located at Mill Bay Marina offers kayak and SUP rentals, instruction, and expeditions.

The Mill Bay Shopping Centre is a short walk up the hill.  The center has a supermarket, drug store, liquor store, hardware store, bank and gift stores.  Several restaurants and the Visitor Centre are also located there.

A public launch ramp is on the north side of the marina.  Spar buoys north of the marina and boat launch, located in front of the Brentwood College School (a prep boarding school), mark a no-anchoring area.  The no-anchoring area protects an ocean loop geo-exchange system used for heating and cooling the school’s buildings.
