Nanaimo Port Authority – Nanaimo Marina

Nanaimo Port Authority is located at 100 Port Drive Nanaimo and monitors VHF 67.   Open all year with 3 hours of moorage complimentary, but call on VHF 67 for slip assignment.  Fewer spaces have been reserved for transient moorage than in the past.  Reservations recommended.  Reservations must be made 48 hours in advance.  Rafting is permitted.  Dock assistants are available during the summer months to help you tie-up.  Numerous commercial fishing vessels are in the basin during the winter months, but pleasure craft moorage is available.  Water at selected socks in the winter.  Customs clearance available at the customs dock, just behind the fuel dock.

A floating breakwater dock is in the center of the harbour entrance, and the Eco Barge pump out and portapotty dump is ties to the shore side of this dock.  No charge for the Eco Barge.  Arriving and departing vessels must pass south of the floating breakwater dock.  The northern entrance is reserved for aircraft.
