Victoria Golf Club
Located in the prestigious Oak Bay, Victoria Golf Club offers 18-holes with an ocean backdrop. Operating for 125 years, it’s the oldest 18-hole course in Canada, and is known by some as the Pebble Beach of the North. To play you’ll need to join or make friends with a member. After a round, be sure to enjoy savory food in the snack bar or dining room.

Gorge Vale Golf Club
Gorge Vale is a welcoming course, roughly 5-minutes from downtown, yet set within 143 acres of parkland. It offers a driving range, three chipping greens, two putting greens, two practice bunkers, and one range bunkers. Golf here is known to be friendly, fast and fun. The casual atmosphere makes Gorge Vale a relaxed place to play.

Bear Mountain Golf & Country Club
Bear Mountain is home to two, 18-hole, championship, Nicklaus designed, golf courses (the Mountain and Valley Course). Perched up high, the greens offer stunning vistas of the city below. Beyond just golf, Bear Mountain offers a Westin Hotel with a spa and dining selections. Bear Mountain is the perfect spot to stay and play.

Highland Pacific Golf Course
With its tagline as ‘Victoria’s Friendliest Public Golf Course’, Highland Pacific is certainly a welcoming course to play. Situated in the ‘Highlands’, its elevated nature offers views of the Olympic Mountains, the Strait of Juan de Fuca and Thetis Lake Park. Covering 190 acres, Highland Pacific makes an effort to protect the abundance of plants and wildlife and is a member of the Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary Program.

Royal Colwood Golf Club
The ‘Royal’ in Royal Colwood isn’t just a name play, rather a designation from King George the V, given to the club in 1931. An approximately 25 minute drive from downtown Victoria, Royal Colwood has played host to numerous major golf tournaments. Royal Colwood is a traditional championship course lined by Garry Oaks and Douglas Firs, and, while carts are available, most players opt to walk.

Uplands Golf Club
Uplands offers rich history with its land once owned by the famous Canada Hudson Bay Company. Now, the host club for the Victoria stop on the Canadian PGA Tour, Uplands is set on a scenic 120-acres. Located centrally, it’s approximately 10-minutes from downtown and located next to the University of Victoria. Though challenging, the gentle rolling greens are conducive to walking and are always impeccable.
