Cruising the pristine waters of Canada’s west coast in a large yacht is finally receiving the support it so desperately needs and deserves. Thanks to the addition of the Victoria International Marina and their private Executive Concierge, the owners, guests, captains and crew now have a facility with services specifically designed for them.

The Executive Concierge, managed by Jennifer Belinski, is the core of our service delivery, aimed at ensuring everyone who visits has a truly remarkable experience. We understand that yachts owners are looking for the extraordinary when it comes to how they use their precious time and we work with captains and crew to help deliver on that. If guests want to tee off from their yacht to an iconic oceanfront golf green, board a luxury helicopter to a high-performance motorsport track mere minutes away, or host a VIP reception in our shoreside lounge, the concierge team will manage every moment of the process.

“Our concierge is available to provide owners and guests with experiences that surpass imagination, and with Canada’s Pacific coastal areas as our playground, there is no end in sight to the possibilities conjured by even the wildest imagination,” says Craig Norris, CEO of Community Marine Concepts, the company responsible for the development of the Victoria International Marina. “From a tee time at a private golf club to a coastline tour in a personal submersible – we’ll make it happen, without hesitation.”

Located in the protected harbour of Victoria, British Columbia, Canada, the Victoria International Marina is first class moorage facility for yacht between 65 (20m) and to 175 feet (53m). The marina includes an amenity building that features a private captain and crew lounge, luxury crew showers, reception lounge, and business centre; and the Boom & Batten, an on-site restaurant featuring international and coastal fusion cuisine. “In addition to standard moorage offerings, we are also offering up seven 39-year slip licences,” says Steve Sinclair, Director of Operations “a once in a lifetime opportunity to invest in a downtown Victoria moorage location.”

Designed to be the home port to the over 13,500 nautical miles (25,000kms) of pristine coastline, the Victoria International Marina is ideally situated to access the best yachting locations in the region. In less than a half-day’s sail, guests can find themselves in the picturesque Gulf Islands National Park Reserve or exploring the coastal waters of western Vancouver Island. The yachting playground and warm waters of Desolation Sound are only 100 nautical miles (185 kms) away.

The Victoria International Marina is committed to the luxury experience right down to the detailed finishes on the marina itself. With an aesthetic appeal often left to high-end automobile or technology companies, the marina features slip-level customizable LED lighting, 20” polished stainless-steel cleats, non-marking D-bumper throughout and trimmed with the most beautiful native yellow cedar. Every slip is supplied with potable water, sewer and reliable power (2x50amp and 1x100amp 120/ 240-volt single-phase outlets at each slip and 2x100amp 277/ 480-volt three-phase power at select slips).

“This marina was custom designed and built with the needs of the future in mind. A sustainability plan was implemented from day one of design and will continue to guide us in growing a business that respects the balance between the natural environment, our economy and our social responsibilities,” says Norris. “From making sure that our infrastructure supports the advent of fully electric yachts to numerous school programs that support growth and interest in the marine environment, to teaching local suppliers how to provide for the yachting industry, and much more – we are honoured to bring additional life to this amazing industry.”
