North Island Marina – North Island Moorage for Yachts

Located at Port McNeill, BC V0N 2R0 (250) 956-4044 monitors traffic VHF 66A.   Formerly Port McNeil Fuel Dock and Marina.  Open all year with 2100 feet of guest moorage for vessels to 285 feet, 30, 50 (120/208 volt) and 100 amp (single and three phase) power, water, WiFi, garbage and recycling at the head of the dock.  The main dock has a security gate; get the pass-code from the marina office.  Reservations highly recommended.

The fuel dock has gasoline, diesel, 100 LL and Jet A aviation fuel, propane.   A long fuel hose and reel allows for in-berth fueling.  The dock store has ice, lubricants, some marine parts.  An auto parts store is just beyond the head of the dock with marine parts, batteries and lubricants.  if parts are not available locally, they can be ordered and often flown in the next day.  Diver services available.  A first-rate laundromat with Wi-Fi is across the street from the auto parts store.  This is a friendly and well-staffed marina located adjacent to the Municipal Floats.

North Vancouver Island Marina offers many services, including a courtesy car, and pick-up and drop-off at the Port Hardy airport, about 24 miles away.  The marina staff can arrange for heli-tours, gold or other services, including boat watch.  for those who need to return home, North Island Marina is a good spot to leave your boat.
